A Long-Awaited Champion
The JWA had been without a heavyweight champion for what seemed like an eternity. Axel Rico, the previous champion, was unfortunately sidelined by injury after a brief reign. The wait is finally over as the tournament crowned a new champion!
Tournament Highlights
- Xavier Sky vs. Iniestra: An electrifying opening match that ended in a double disqualification, leaving the crowd buzzing.
- Alex Bernardino vs. Axel Rico: A clash of former champions with Rico emerging victorious.
- Gonzo vs. Adam Stallion: A crowd-pleasing battle won by Gonzo.
- Hans Carden vs. The System: Hans Carden securing a spot in the semi-finals.
- Mario Pardua vs. Axel Rico: A hard-fought semi-final match with Rico advancing.
- Gonzo vs Hans Carden: teammates (Alpha Zeta Zeta) had to battle each other. Hans Carden advanced to the finals.
- Hans Carden vs. Axel Rico: An epic finals match between a former champion and a hungry challenger. Hans Carden emerged victorious, becoming the new JWA Heavyweight Champion!
